It's been a while, and I have been working at decluttering, and attempting to organize. What I want to share today is a Flylady message that was emailed to me.
There was a lady, who's MIL got sick, needed to go to assisted living, and her home needed to be sold, cleaned and sorted all in 6 weeks! The lady said that there was magazines dated from 1969 still there!! She was sad that a daughter-in-law was in charge of figuring what items were to keep and what to toss out. This motivated the DIL to clean and declutter her home, knowing that she didn't want anyone to have to go through what she was going through.
This inspired me to remember to declutter, and to keep things updated and my memories journaled. So future generations can understand me, and the things that made my life, mine.

I am a writer and like to be organized but gotta say, those old magazines are gold for writers for their wealth of information (articles, ads, etc) for anyone needing period research -- hope she dropped them of at a consignment bookseller or library....
